If you haven’t heard about this campaign yet, do yourself a favor and download it NOW. This is a very well thought out series of maps that doesn’t follow the usual push a button, wait for the horde sequence of events. It’s long, it’s challenging, and it’s way awesome! Also, we’re going to start creating forum polls for each of the maps, so people can vote on the maps. If there’s a consensus for/against a map, that will determine if it is kept on the server.

Always wonder how Sco seems to land that 25 point pounce on you out of nowhere?  It’s because he trains with THIS, the Hunter Training maps.  This is a two map pack that is frustrating as hell, but if you keep dinking around with it, you’ll improve.  My favorite is the “final test” where  a group of survivors run around a little mock’d up city for you to munch on.  Map is on the server for teaching purposes, but best to played as single player.  Just follow the instructions and animated ingame tutorials.

Another new campaign requested by Sierra. Haven’t played this one yet, so I don’t know how good it is…

Looks like the first map is about done, the second half done, and the third only started. Hopefully it’s playable!

This is a very cool campaign with 3 maps that is about 70% finished.  The 2nd and 3rd maps have developer textures in a number of areas, but still makes for a good time.  Hopefully, the final map will be fixed up to where my frames per sec don’t drop to 2.  This is already up and running on the server and will be kept updated.  You can download it at http://www.l4dmaps.com or just click HERE.

By popular request (IOW Sierra threatened to cut my balls off if I didn’t add it), the Central Dark survial map has been added to the server.

Dam it! This one is just a single map, set next to a dam (durrr…)  Kinda fun, but really should be a full campaign.

Death Aboard Make your way through an annoyingly tilted ship to a lighthouse, to be picked up by… well, I won’t spoil it.

Bedroom Survival A survival map in a bedroom.  “Roach” style map– it’s a lot of fun, but I would imagine it’ll wear out it’s welcome pretty quickly– like all the Survival maps.

If you have any requests, post them here & I’ll get them installed ASAP.

Also, Dawn Awake is installed, but doesn’t show up in the add-on list.  Apparently there’s a conflict with Death Aboard.  There’s a way to fix it, but it involves editing the VPK file.  Basically, we’d have to provide our own VPK in order for it to work, and that just sounds like a pain in the ass.  We’ll wait until the VPK on l4dmods is fixed, then add it.
