An update for Portal dropped earlier today... No description for it other than "Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations"... nice and cryptic. 

Here's hoping Portal 2 comes out soon!

It's "scheduled" for the holiday season.

In one of the audio files valve uploaded for Portal, you can hear Barney, Kleiner, and Alex talking-- and it sounds like new dialog.  Hopefully that means we'll get a similar announcement for Ep3 soon, too.

So apparently there's a co-op mode, and it's going to be a full release, so 20 or so hours of gameplay.  I'm not sure what to think of that last bit-- 2 hours for the first one was perfect,  but I think I'd throw up after 3...

Maybe the second will be more fps related.  While the first was technically an fps, it was more about the strategy rooms, perhaps this one has more dangers then random turrets and deadly water?
